Join the KAM Media team

Head of Commercial, Grocery


• Manage a portfolio of accounts within the grocery retail sector- specifically focussing on convenience and wholesale
• Be the first point of contact for KAM Media within these organisations and develop a trusted advisor relationship.
• Identify new contacts & opportunities within current portfolio through networking, meetings and referrals.
• Write detailed sales proposals with costs and timings.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of KAM media research solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• Monitor and analyse client's usage of KAM Media’s product and make sure it is delivering value.
• Understand the business strategy, insight and data needs of your key contacts and clients.
• Attends conferences & networking events to increase awareness of KAM media brand.
• Understand KAM media products and solutions in detail to be able to pitch product to new contacts.
• Provide relevant feedback to internal contacts on brand & product perception.

Skills and experience required

• You will have worked in a previous sales role and be used to dealing with senior contacts in the grocery retail sector
• You will have a proven track record of networking successfully and extracting relevant information from key contacts and identifying new opportunities.
• You will have excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
• You will have previously worked to commercial targets and have experience of negotiating through the full sales process.
• You will be a natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity.
• You will have experience of dealing with FMCG companies.
• Knowledge of the insight & data world is preferential but not essential.
• You will be disciplined, as this role is working remotely, and needs someone who can manage their workload, diary and output effectively.

• £Neg depending on experience, hours worked etc
